It was brought to my attention very recently that the "truth" is NOT the only religion to be losing members. The "newest" religious books written by religious leaders around the world are of such ilk. Furthermore the reasons that plaqued the Christian denominations are almost exactly the reasons that plaqued the "truth"! So I'd say one could almost feel a certain amount of "joy" if someone they know and love leaves their church, but goes on to have part in another Christian church! At least, it'd be more like Jesus had told His disciples about the man thrusting out devils in Jesus' name.....if it's an "activity" that keeps Jesus to the forefront of anyone's mind...then the thought that hopefully Jesus will find faith on the earth when He returns! Is that not so?

The problem seems to be that most people are more concerned with finding the "right" church rather than the Lord of All.

That's true...for some reason mankind has this developed sense of a need of belonging to a group and if it's to bring about something so hope-for as eternal life...yes, to find the "right" church is what we do!

I remember when John Lennon of the Beatles said that they meant more to the kids than Christ did.
At the time, he was correct, and not boasting, but really making a good point.
I hope that influences of the world are not responsible for the exodus of people from church(es) or from God,
I have tasted all the world has, and have found it empty.
I hope that all will truly seek God, and live a life in His light and mercy..............Pianoman
