What do you think about the Trinity?
~~ We know the word Trinity does not appear in the Bible, but the Trinity is Nevertheless a Bible-based belief.
The word Trinity was used to explain the Eternal relationship between the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Many Bible passages express the Trinity.
(Matt. 3:16,17; Matthew 28:19; II Cor 13:14; Eph. 4:4-6; Titus 3:4-6)
Early Christians constantly defended their beliefs. The following early church leaders and or writings all defended the doctrine of the Trinity long before A.D. 300.
A.D. 96 Clement the apostle A.D. 90-100 The teachings of the Twelve apostles A.D. 90 Ignatius A.D. 155 Justin Martyr A.D. 168 Theophilus A.D. 177 Athenagoras A.D. 180 Irenaeus A.D. 197 Tertullian
~~ The word "Incarnation" does not appear in the Bible either, but we use it as one-word summary of our belief that Jesus was God (the Son) in the Flesh.
~~~ There is ONLY one God, and this one God exists as One essence in three Persons are:
God the Father the Creator of ALL things. God the Son (Jesus Christ) the Co-creator, the Savior. God the Holy Spirit.
~~ The Persons are distinct: The Father is NOT the Son. The Son is NOT the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is NOT the Father.
God is one absolutely perfect divine being in three Persons. The three are called Persons because they related to one another in personal ways.
~~~ One God in three Persons (the Trinity), they do NOT mean:
1) The Father is God-- the first Person of the Trinity. (I Cor. 8:6; Eph. 4:4-6) Grace unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.
2) The Son (Jesus Christ) is God-- the second Person of the Trinity. The Holy Spirit is God-- the third Person of the Trinity. (John 1:1) The Word was God. Jesus is identified as "the Word." (John 20:28) Jesus' disciple Thomas addressed Jesus, "My Lord and My God."
Jesus did NOT tell Thomas he was mistaken; instead Jesus accepted these titles. Other people in Scripture, notably Paul and Barnabas (Acts 14) refused to accept worship as gods.
3) The Holy Spirit is God: (Acts 5:3-4) But Peter said, "Ananias, why has satan has filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost?.. thou has NOT lied unto men, but unto GOD!"

Many people in the world believe Jesus is just an interesting man. He was born and lived 2,000 years ago. Many think and believe Jesus is not an important person so they don't take his words, and teachings very seriously.
But in (John 8:56-58) Jesus said to the Jews! that he was Yahweh God (the Son) the Father's Anointed Messiah/Savior in the Old Testament who was foretold that He would "incarnated" Himself in the Person Jesus Christ so those who believe in Him as the Son of God and the Son of man then you've Eternal life.
Jesus said, "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life no man comes unto the Father but through me." (John 14:6)
No man on the earth such Buddha, Mohamed, Billy Graham, the Pope, the workers etc... can SAVE us except God the Father anointed God the Son Yahweh. Jesus claimed he was the Yahweh God the Anointed Messiah the ONLY person could SAVE us.
Only Jesus Christ can SAVE us because he is God the Son Yahweh. The workers can only help us, encourage us, and point us the WAY to Salvation and that's is through believing in Jesus the Lord God and Savior. (Acts 16:16,17)
Once we realize and understand Jesus is Yahweh God the Son NOT just aninteresting man then we MUST believe in what He says and teaches because our eternal salvation is depending on believing in Him as the Lord God and Savior.
Philippians 2:10,11 That at the name of Jesus Every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; and that Every tounge should confess that Jesus Christ is the Lord (Yahweh) to the glory of the Father.
~~ It is better to bow ours knees and confess Jesus as our Lord and Savior while there's time and opportunity NOW then we receive everlasting peace throughout eternity but if we wait after death to bow ours knees then it will be too late.

You already believe in the Trinity when you pray to God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son of God= God the Son, and Holy Spirit in public and in private.
Salvation comes when we put our faith and trust in Jesus Christ as our Lord God and Savior. Jesus said in (John 17:3) "And this is life eternal, that they might know the only true God and Jesus Christ, whom thou has sent."
Jesus said, "Whosover, believes in him (Jesus) should NOT perish, but have eternal life.) (John 3:15)
Understanding the Trinity or Jesus, Yahweh God the Son is a progressive revelation! in John 4:1-30 the Samaritan woman at the well first saw Jesus as a Jew, then a prophet, finally she realized he was the Christ=Anointed Messiah that foretold in the Old Testament would come to be the Savior.

This morning in our fellowship meeting we heard of a trinity on this earth. It is the trinity of the written word, the spoken word and the lived word. I just enjoyed that and thought I would pass along Alan, you might like these two verses (I John 5:7,8) For there are THREE that bear record in Heaven! the Father, the Word (Jesus), and the Holy Ghost: and these Three are one in agreement.
And there are THREE that bear witness in earth, the spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three are in One Agreement. (New International Version)
While the Pharisees were gatehred together, Jesus asked them, saying, "What think ye of Christ? Whose Son is he?" they say unto him, "The Son of David."
Jesus said unto them, "How then does king David in spirit call him (Christ) the Lord, saying, the Lord said unto my LORD sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool? If David called him (Christ) Lord (God) How is He his Son?"
~~ In the book of Hebrews God the Father called the Son (Jesus) God and Lord.
Heb. 1:8-10 unto the Son.. He (God the Father) said, "thy throne O God, is forever and ever: a scepter of righteousness is the scepter of thy kingdom. Thou hast love righteousness and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, has anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellow.
And thou Lord, in the beginning has laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands.
