I have been brought up in the truth but to tell you the truth I have only felt real genuine brotherly/sisterly love from one or two people in all the meetings I have been. The meeting we are in now would not even phone to ask how one is doing. I don't even feel at liberty to contact any in my present meeting. I do hear a lot though about love in the meetings but I don't see the evidence

Not all in the meetings have the Spirit of God and therefore not all have brotherly or neighborly love as they should. Just make sure you have it!

I do hear a lot though about love in the meetings but I don't see the evidence I'm sorry you have to experience that. I've seen the same thing in other Christian churches and I have seen in the mtgs. as well as the other churches where people will bend over backwards to make you feel welcomed and loved.....it's seems to be a quirk that happens sometimes....perhaps because there are more people in said group that are very busy and/or very shy....maybe if you'd try to do more to meet them past the half way mark, you might win some into the love of God....also IF you feel they're your enemies, pray for them...I know positively that praying for one's enemies that it isn't long until they are no longer your enemies because you've become attached to praying for them and then you can kindly look at them as that God loves them and God loves you so certainly all of you can love one another....JMT
