My daughter and me live in Austin, Texas!
I wasn't going to tell anyone where I lived because all of the administrators on the other boards are so secretive! I thought this might be a dangerous place if some poster could find your name and address and come seeking revenge for something you wrote.
The real problem is that I did not use a "handle" but thought it better to use my real name. I keep the Lord first and highest so what would I hide? Who else could I be but Richard McFarland and with that and Google I'm found!
I like the sound of "being found."
To all in Him,
Richard

I live in Central Scotland, about half way between Edinburgh (capital) and Glagow (largest city). But not native to here; moved here from Iceland in the early 90s and before that Western Australia (near DavidN above), and before that New Zealand. (Studied in AlanC's city back in the '70s).

I live in Orange County of southern California. There are four sets of workers in the Los Angeles area and many meetings. We are very privileged.
Southern California is a great place to live with the ocean within 30 minutes, snow-skiing mountains within an hour, and the desert within 90 minutes. The climate is very mild with the sun shining most every day.
I know this sounds like an advertisement to lure you to move here, so let me tell you about the bad parts. Housing is very expensive, it is extremely crowded and the traffic is horrific. They are soon going to ration water because they have over built and the population has out grown our meager water supply.
Please come and visit.

I live in western Colorado. In the Grand Junction area. GJ is on the Colorado River. Actually at the junction of the Colorado and Gunnison rivers. High desert. Blue sky. Mild winters. With mountains near and snow. Thus good biking, skiing, river rafting, fishing, hunting, boating, camping. Actually our little town is called Fruita just to the west of GJ about 16 miles from the Utah border. We have a state college, very good medical facilities; and wild, free roaming wild horses in our community"s back yard. We have 3 little churches and someone from here goes to Moab UT most every Sunday changing off who goes to help out. We have 1 set of workers whom we have to share with the folks in the NE of the state. We live about an hour from the Hotchkiss conv grounds. We're Midway between Denver and Salt Lake City. 4 hours either way. Across the Grand Valley to the east, Palisade has the best peaches in the world, and wineries. Drilling for gas and oil is increasing in nearby communities. Ranching is decreasing. Our area is growing in leaps and bounds.
